CENTRAL STERILIZATION UNIT
The instruments used in clinics are washed, packaged and labeled and sterilized.
The instruments which are kept in special solution in special tool containers in clinics are collected by MSÜ (Central Sterilization Unit), surgical instruments are washed in washing machines and sterilization procedures are performed in devices called autoclave and they are made ready for use again. In our institution, which attaches utmost importance to patient and employee safety, the effectiveness of sterilization processes are monitored by Bowie Dick Test, Protein Test, Chemical Indicators and Biological Indicators.
